During the school year, Chris is an elementary music teacher in Fort Worth ISD. This gives him the entire summer off to focus on writing drill. It also allows time after the school year starts to do quick rewrites for free. This helps bands using Cantrell Marching drill to do the best they can.
Chris has lived in Hurst, TX(outside of Fort Worth, TX) for 7 years with his beautiful and imaginative daughter, Valerie Alexis.
